Happy Memorial Day,
The author of the somewhat bipartisan, SAFE Banking Act, Rep.Ed Perlmutter (D-CO Dems) put cannabis banking in the next stimulus proposal and thinks it has a 50% chance of passing the Senate. The Trump administration withheld funding for Maine's adolescent mental health program since Maine allows for teen medical cannabis use. I guess the government is being traditionalists, keeping the decision for whether teens should use cannabis out of the hands of doctors and in the hands of playground drug dealers. ;) And in sad news, while people are being rewarded for being cannabis entrepreneurs, a Texas man who was still in jail after 16 years for selling marijuana died from the coronavirus.
