While cannabis in California is booming due to COVID, the vast majority of the cities and counties banned cannabis licenses out of irrational fears of “drug dealers” taking over their neighborhoods. The fears are even more irrational given that, according to a report we included, this helps the illicit market thrive in these neighborhoods. We included details of the convoluted Feds vs States cannabis battle that lawyers will appreciate.. And it's still early but with hemp needing two and a half times less water than cotton and being able to survive in more climates, we hope that one day, hemp can help the environment by overtaking cotton. 🙂
