Happy Holidays,

In this week’s roundup, we've got studies to help you defend CBD at the holiday dinner table. We included a Consumer Reports article that says that CBD can wean people off opioids. A recent study showed that opioid prescriptions decreased in cannabis-friendly states. And government research indicated that 80% of heroin addicts start with prescription narcotics! So in a way, the more cannabis/CBD sold, the fewer heroin overdoses. When a relative asks me what I do for a living I’m going to reply, “I fight heroin addiction and save lives. What do you do, Grandma?” 😎

In another step towards mainstream acceptance, a couple of national retail stores have CBD on their shelves.

By the way, due to our drug-related keywords, we occasionally get forwarded to the spam folder. Please add us to your contacts list so we stay in your inbox. If you don’t feel this news roundup is relevant to you, feel free to unsubscribe.

I hope you have a sensational week!
