Three men have been charged in a pump-and-dump scam in which they were going to release fake press releases inflating prices of their CBD, OTC-listed company. Unfortunately for them, their marketing specialist reported the scam to the FBI instead of taking the millions dollars they offered him. There are billions of dollars at risk for cannabis propositions on November’s ballot and we included a handy diagram. And Twitter is continuing a double standard showing addiction warnings for cannabis searches but not doing the same for alcohol or cigarettes. There are zero deaths due to cannabis but 88,000 due to alcohol and 480,000 due to smoking tobacco in the US each year!
