An advisor to the governor of New York states that he expects legalization to be finalized in March 2021 and to include CBD drinks and edibles. In New Jersey pro-cannabis polling is so strong that republicans and every age demographic want to legalize. Nebraskan activists are already submitting petitions for 2022. Nebraska was close to having cannabis legalization on the ballot this year but courts argued that the writing in their petition had multiple clauses. I'm no Nebraskan law expert but the idea of having more specifics in a bill sounds very democratic. In any case, it's just a speed bump on the imminent road to national legalization. ☺
