Hi,
In this week's roundup, Uruguay which is the first adult-use legal cannabis country demonstrated that cannabis legalization doesn’t equate to an increase in teen use. In the United States, there's been a 27% increase in cannabis consumption in the last year, however, university research is still being sabotaged.
Patients' lives are depending on your help! US researchers are required to purchase cannabis from the University of Mississippi which is notorious for having a horrible product. The DEA has released new proposed rules, but NORML is against these rules as they are suspicious that it's another stall tactic. NORML believes that the law should simply say that scientists can access cannabis from any state licensed businesses the same way consumers do. We agree!
Unfortunately, as of tonight there are less than 200 comments by individuals or companies while there were over 4500 comments left last year for the CBD rules.
Please, make a comment on the DEA’s site and forward this message to all your friends as the period for public comment ends on the 22nd of May.
