As we reflect on this Thanksgiving, we included a couple of articles on the complicated relationships that Native Americans have with hemp and the US government. Recently, the EU Commission claimed that CBD was a narcotic which would cause more regulations and be a boom for Big Pharma. But now an EU court has said it's not a narcotic which is great news for the little guys! New York’s hemp rules have been deemed as exemplary, yet they ban smokable hemp. Our opinion is that smokable hemp will be allowed once cannabis is legalized which we expect will be in 2021.
